Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Policy applies to FamilyTYMS services for families, family members, community organizations, administrators, marketplace participants, training participants, and visitors to our public pages. A community organization may have its own privacy responsibilities for information it independently collects or controls.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

• Account and profile information: name, email address, authentication information, family or organization name, role, profile details, and account preferences.
• Family and community information: family membership, goals, assessments, capabilities, needs, plans, community memberships, events, messages, and information users choose to share within permitted areas of the service.
• Financial-management information: information users enter to use budgeting, planning, goal, account, transaction, investment, or financial-health features. FamilyTYMS is not a bank and does not provide investment, tax, or financial-advisory services.
• Marketplace information: listings, offers, purchases, messages, reviews, fulfillment information, and transaction records for People Are Your Wealth Exchange features.
• Payment and subscription information: subscription status and transaction identifiers. Payment-card details are generally processed by our payment provider rather than stored directly by FamilyTYMS.
• Communications and content: messages, uploaded files, photos, videos, training content, support requests, and other content you submit.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, authentication events, application logs, security events, and similar usage information needed to operate and protect the service.
• Third-party sign-in information: when you use Google or another supported identity provider, we receive information authorized through that provider, such as your account identifier, name, and email address.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure FamilyTYMS, authenticate users, maintain family and community memberships and permissions, personalize experiences, process subscriptions and marketplace transactions, deliver training and communications, provide assessments and platform intelligence, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, improve reliability and usability, comply with law, and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Family and community visibility

FamilyTYMS uses roles and permissions to limit access. Information visible to a Family Admin, Family Member, Community Admin, organization, or marketplace participant depends on the feature and assigned permissions. Community reporting is designed to use aggregated or appropriately scoped information where the product indicates that individual family information is not shared.

Users should avoid entering information they do not want shared with the people or organizations authorized to view that feature.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate FamilyTYMS, such as cloud hosting, database/authentication, payment processing, email, video, analytics, communications, and security providers. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to their applicable agreements.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, or when you direct or consent to a disclosure.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.

6. Google User Data and Google Calendar

If you choose to sign in with Google or connect your Google account to a Google-enabled FamilyTYMS feature, FamilyTYMS may receive or access Google user data only after you authorize the applicable permissions through Google's authentication or OAuth consent process.

Google data accessed

When Google is used for authentication, FamilyTYMS may receive information authorized by Google, such as your Google account identifier, name, and email address. If you separately authorize the FamilyTYMS Google Calendar integration, FamilyTYMS requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events permission. This permission allows FamilyTYMS to access and manage Google Calendar event information necessary to provide the connected feature, including event titles, descriptions, dates and times, attendees or meeting-related information when applicable, Google Calendar event identifiers, and Google Meet information associated with events created or managed through FamilyTYMS.

How Google data is used

FamilyTYMS uses authorized Google Calendar access to provide user-requested features such as creating and managing FamilyTYMS family meetings and scheduled training sessions, creating corresponding Google Calendar events and Google Meet links, displaying relevant event information inside FamilyTYMS, updating associated events when scheduling information changes, and deleting associated events when the user cancels or deletes them.

FamilyTYMS does not request Google Calendar access for the purpose of creating or deleting entire calendars, changing calendar sharing settings, or administering a user's calendars.

Sharing and transfer

FamilyTYMS does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, or transfer Google user data to data brokers or advertisers. Google user data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf only when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or provide the user-requested FamilyTYMS functionality, subject to applicable contractual and confidentiality obligations, or when disclosure is required by law.

Data protection

FamilyTYMS uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect Google user data, including authenticated access, role-based permissions, encrypted network communications, access controls, application security controls, and security measures provided by our infrastructure and service providers.

Retention, deletion, and revocation

FamilyTYMS retains Google-connected data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the connected functionality, maintain security and required records, or satisfy applicable legal obligations. Users may revoke FamilyTYMS access through their Google Account permissions. Google-connected data that is no longer reasonably necessary for the connected functionality may be deleted or de-identified, subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and record-retention requirements. Users may also contact FamilyTYMS to request deletion of eligible personal information.

Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use

FamilyTYMS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Advertising and AI/ML

FamilyTYMS does not use Google Workspace API user data for targeted advertising. FamilyTYMS does not use raw or derived Google Workspace API user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. FamilyTYMS does not transfer Google Workspace API user data to third-party AI/ML services for the purpose of training their generalized AI/ML models.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

FamilyTYMS and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, performance, and application functionality.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, satisfy legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and maintain security. Retention periods can vary by data type and feature.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including authentication, permissions, transport security, platform monitoring, and service-provider security controls. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information about certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also update many account details inside FamilyTYMS, manage connected-provider permissions with those providers, and cancel subscriptions according to the applicable subscription terms.

11. Children and family accounts

FamilyTYMS is designed for family use, but account creation and consent for minors must be handled by a parent, legal guardian, or other person authorized by applicable law. Family Admins are responsible for managing access granted to minor family members. We do not knowingly invite children to create independent accounts where parental consent is legally required.

12. Sensitive information

FamilyTYMS may allow users to enter personal, family, wellness, financial, or other sensitive information. Only enter information necessary for your use of the service and use available permissions carefully. FamilyTYMS is not a medical records system, financial institution, law firm, or emergency service.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as FamilyTYMS evolves. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change is material.
